Niveus Media offers three Media Center training courses, including Digital Cable (CableCARD) Installation, at EHX Fall 2007 in Long Beach, California.
Milpitas, CA – October 17, 2007 – Niveus Media, award-winning manufacturer of high-end digital entertainment solutions, is pleased to offer three training courses at EHX Fall 2007 in Long Beach, California, this November. Committed to providing a comprehensive understanding of the media server platform, the Niveus training team will educate attendees on the latest in media server design, installation, and set-up techniques. Additionally, Niveus will be involved in the Core Curriculum Media Center seminars put on by industry leading Training Partners and EHX's resident Media Center expert, Julie Jacobson.

Niveus Digital Cable Installation
Wednesday, 11/7/07 8:30am-10am │ Niveus Demo Room 102B
To increase familiarity and professionalism in installing the Niveus Digital Cable Receiver, Niveus will offer a comprehensive digital cable installation training seminar. Niveus trainers will demonstrate how to properly install and configure digital cable using a high-performance Niveus Media Server and the Niveus Digital Cable Receiver. The program will provide installers with the preliminary knowledge necessary to properly setup and configure a multi-tuner digital cable solution.
Niveus Installation and Set-Up

This course will teach participants how to install and configure a Niveus Media Server including integration with the Niveus Storage Server platform, the Niveus Digital Cable Receiver, and the all new Niveus Media Extender – EDGE. Training will include: video and audio configuration, calibration and control; extending of the Media Center experience to multiple zones; and leveraging of Niveus’ exclusive software in installations.
Niveus Sales Training

The trainer will demonstrate how to design a scalable whole-home entertainment system using Niveus’ award-winning line of media and storage servers and the Niveus Media Extender – EDGE. Topics will include: integrating a high-performance, high-fidelity ISF-Certified Windows Media Center solution; protecting customer’s valuable media with network storage; and multi-room audio/video and home control integration.
As with most high-performing devices in the home entertainment channel, Niveus’ systems are intended for custom installation by a qualified and trained integrator. These courses represent Niveus’ latest initiative in educating installers on advancements in the media server and home entertainment platforms. The Niveus courses are offered free of charge to EHX Fall 2007 registered attendees.
On Wednesday, November 6th, from 9am-5:30pm in room 201A, EHX will lead a series of 90 minute Media Center focused seminars including: Optimizing Media Centers for Entertainment & Networking, Delivering High Performance Audio & Video with Media Centers, Media Center Content, Services & Business Opportunities, and Whole-House Integration of Media Center Systems. Niveus will be included in the seminars as well as part of the intermissions between courses. Interested installers can register through the EHX website.
