are three configurations available in the Pro Series,
the n4, n7 & n9. Boasting
Blu-ray Disc next generation DVD as an option, up to four television
tuners, 7.1 analog and digital surround sound, up
to 3 Terabytes (3000GB) of digital media storage,
broadband and network connectivity, and video resolutions
that go beyond 1080p, the Pro Series is the perfect
media server for your digital home network.

Heat
pipe & heat sink technology is used to draw heat
away from the processor, and video graphics card.
The heat is then drawn to active cooling with
large, slow RPM fans. Unlike the passive vertical
ventilated Summit Series, the Pro Series is ventilated
front to back. A single large fan pulls cool air
in from the front of the unit, internal fans continue
the movement of cool air across the heat sources,
and air is pushed out the rear of the unit with
an additional quiet fan. This front-to-back cooling
allows the Pro Series to be tightly integrated
into a full rack, with no additional concerns
for vertical airflow, or internal buildup of heat.

The
radical departure from the boring powder coat
finish, and plain jane front panels of the IT
rack chassis world allows the Niveus Pro Series
to be noticed in even the most crowded of A/V
racks. By incorporating a black anodized brushed
aluminum front panel, and the new Niveus signature
illuminated arch, the Pro Series has the distinction
of a traditional pro a/v source device made for
the next generation media server demands. Lastly,
the inclusion of the patent-pending Niveus ConvergencePanel™
sets this media server as the reference in the
Microsoft Media Server category.
